Biography

Professor Fung Man Him Matrix is the Chief of Division of Endocrine Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2012 and joined the Department of Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital since then.

Professor Fung’s clinical and research interests focus on benign and malignant thyroid conditions, parathyroid diseases, adrenal and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours. He has extensive experience in using radiofrequency ablation and microwave ablation to treat various thyroid conditions including thyroid nodules and Graves’ disease. He has been invited as a speaker at various international conferences and workshops. His other interests include the clinical application of laryngeal ultrasongraphy of vocal cords.

Professor Fung is a member of the Hong Kong Association of Endocrine Surgeons and Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons, and associate editor of Surgical Practice.
