Upper Gastrointestinal Cancers Research
We are devoted to research for new methods to improve the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of upper gastrointestinal cancers in particular esophageal cancer and gastric cancer. Commonly used research platforms are employed to understand disease mechanisms and to find new cancer biomarkers, imaging methods and treatments.

Preclinical animal models
A panel of preclinical animal models including subcutaneous tumor xenograft model, orthotopic tumor xenograft model and patient-derived tumor xenograft model have been established and used for R&D of new treatments and imaging methods.
