Biography

Professor Stephanie Nga-sze Wong is a dedicated otolaryngologist who graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. She completed her specialist qualification in otolaryngology and obtained fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018. Professor Wong's accomplishments include receiving the prestigious George Choa Prize for Outstanding Presentation from the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists in 2017 during her training. She furthered her expertise in head and neck surgery, completing post-fellowship training in 2021.

Professor Wong's commitment to excellence is underscored by her achievement with honours in the Global Online Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology conferred by the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS). Currently serving as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong, she also holds the position of Honorary Associate Consultant in the Department of Surgery and the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat at Queen Mary Hospital.

Professor Wong's clinical focus revolves around head and neck conditions, with a particular emphasis on managing head and neck malignancies. Her research interests encompass the management and rehabilitation of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and other head and neck cancers, reflecting her dedication to advancing treatment outcomes in these areas.
